John Zaozirny

PRESIDENT OF FEATURE FILM PRODUCTION AND LITERARY MANAGEMENT

John Zaozirny oversees the feature film production slate for Bellevue and the Literary Management Team. 

His clients’ writing and directing credits include FREAKIER FRIDAY, COBWEB, INFINITE, PARALLEL, ELI, BAD MATCH, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2022), HEAVY TRIP, OFFICE UPRISING, JOLT, and SPLINTER amongst others. His clients have written feature scripts that are set up at Warner Bros, Paramount, Fox, Lionsgate, New Line, Focus Features, Fox 2000, Sony, Universal, amongst others. As well, his clients have had 37 scripts on the last ten Black Lists, the annual list of the best unproduced feature scripts, including BLONDE AMBITION, the number one script on the 2016 Black List, HEADHUNTER, the number one script on the 2020 Black List, and CAULIFLOWER, the number one script on the 2021 Black List.

His clients have written on TV shows such as LAW & ORDER: SVU, VOUGHT RISING, FBI INTERNATIONAL, BOSCH: LEGACY, MR ROBOT, KIFF, SHANTARAM, TRAINING DAY, TINY PRETTY THINGS, HAWAII FIVE-O, THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE and HAND OF GOD, amongst others. He also reps the writer of the Eisner-nominated comic book LITTLE BIRD. 

As a producer, John’s feature film projects include CRISTO (set up at Warner Bros, Black List 2010), WARDEN (set up at New Line) CAPSULE (set up at 20th, Black List 2013), BLONDE AMBITION (set up at Universal, Black List 2016), and LIONHUNTERS (set up at Warner Bros, Black List 2017.) He was an executive producer on the feature films ALWAYS WATCHING and PARALLEL and produced ELI, which was released by Netflix in 2019. He most recently produced Paramount’s INFINITE, which was directed by Antoine Fuqua and starred Mark Wahlberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Dylan O’Brien, was released on Paramount Plus in 2021. He is an executive producer on the UNT. K-POP MOVIE that Paramount will be releasing on February 12, 2027.

Raised in Vancouver, Canada, John is a graduate of the Tisch Film and Television program at New York University.

Jeff Portnoy

LITERARY MANAGER

Jeff Portnoy is a literary manager at Bellevue Productions. Prior to joining Bellevue, Jeff worked at Creative Artists Agency, The Gotham Group and Resolution talent agency.

On the feature side, his clients have written scripts set up at such studios and streamers as Netflix, Amazon, Sony, Sony Pictures Animation, Screen Gems, Paramount, Fox Searchlight, Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, Disney, Universal, Lionsgate, Miramax and STX.

On the TV side, his clients have written and produced such shows as THE BODY, THE BEAST IN ME, GOOD GIRLS, MARVEL’S: AGENTS OF SHIELD, BULL, KUNG FU, OUTLANDER, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, THE SECRETS WE KEPT, FBI: INTERNATIONAL, FRASIER, HOW WE ROLL, ME, JUST ADD MAGIC and KIFF, amongst many others.

Jeff’s clients have written films that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW and Fantastic Fest, respectively, and his clients’ scripts have won or placed in the finals of such writing competitions as the Nicholl Fellowship, Final Draft Big Break, and the Austin Film Festival, amongst others. Jeff is also an Executive Producer on the 2025 film ROOFMAN (Paramount/Miramax), directed by Derek Cianfrance and starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst.

Originally from Massachusetts, Jeff received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Point Park University in Pittsburgh and studied Film and Television writing at UCLA Extension. 

Kate Sharp

LITERARY MANAGER

Kate Sharp is a literary manager at Bellevue Productions.

Prior to joining Bellevue, Kate was the VP of Development and Production at Occupant Entertainment, produced short-form content for Showtime, MTV, Verizon, Facebook, and U2, and was an Executive Producer on the Hulu original, Emmy-nominated TV series BEHIND THE MASK. Her film credits include PEEP WORLD, BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY, MADAME BOVARY and THE HALLOW.

Most recently, Kate produced the film LOVE, BROOKLYN starring André Holland which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and was distributed by Greenwhich Entertainment. 

On the feature side, her clients projects have most recently appeared on the Black List and premiered at Sundance, Berlin, TIFF and Cannes.

On the TV side, her clients have written on such series as STAR TREK: PICARD, GENUIS: ARETHA FRANKLIN, MAN ON THE INSIDE, ORDINARY JOE and NEVER HAVE I EVER.

Kate is a graduate of New York University where she received a B.F.A. in Film and Television from the Tisch School of the Arts.

Zack Zucker

LITERARY MANAGER

Zack Zucker is a Literary Manager at Bellevue Productions. Prior to joining Bellevue, Zack worked at Google, United Talent Agency, and Twentieth Century Fox. He also produced independently.

On the feature side, his clients have placed #1 on the 2020 and 2021 Black Lists and had films premiere at Sundance, SXSW, TIFF, and Tribeca. On the TV side, his clients have sold to the likes of Fox, Hulu, Netflix, Sony, eOne, and Village Roadshow, and have written on such series as FBI: International, Frasier, Manifest, Star Trek: Picard, Flatbush Misdemeanors, Black Lightning, and AJ & the Queen.

As a producer, his feature, THE NOVICE, premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, where it won multiple awards including Best US Narrative. The film went on to sell to IFC Films and was nominated for five Independent Spirit Awards, including Best Feature.

Zack attained a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California's Peter Stark Producing Program and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.

Maddy Weese

JUNIOR LITERARY MANAGER

Maddy Weese is a Junior Literary Manager at Bellevue Productions. Prior to literary representation, she worked as a Creative Executive at Beacon Pictures overseeing development of both film and television. She has worked as an independent producer and has been a writers' assistant and script consultant on many projects. She got her start in the industry working on the original TV series CSI: LAS VEGAS and also worked as a writer for two of the CSI Video Games. She was raised in Southern California and she attended Loyola Marymount University.
