Feature Film Division
Bellevue’s Feature Film Division works with talented writers to create original, commercial motion picture concepts and then to develop these concepts into marketplace-ready screenplays. Focusing on the genres of action, thriller, science fiction, and psychological horror, Bellevue has a slate of over two dozen projects in active development.
Bellevue has also expanded into Literary Management, bringing the same focus on quality material and commercial concepts to managing the careers of talented screenwriters. Manager Jeff Portnoy works alongside Bellevue principal John Zaozirny to manage a strong client list of commercial and ambitious screenwriters.
Bellevue’s client list includes Ian Shorr(“Always Watching,” “Splinter,” “Rigged,” “Capsule” which is set up at Fox and was on the 2013 Black list, “Cristo” which is set up at Warner Bros and was on the 2011 Black List); David Chirchirillo (“Cheap Thrills” and “Eli” which is set up at Broad Green Pictures and appeared on the 2015 Black List and Blood List); Josh Golden, who was recently selected as one of Variety’s “Top 10 Screenwriters to Watch” for his script “Road To Oz,” which sold to New Line Cinema, appeared on the 2014 Black List and was a finalist in the 2014 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting; Matt King (“Boomtown” which is set up at Focus Features and made the 2015 Black List); writing team Samuel Franco & Evan Kilgore (“Mayday 109” which is set up at Thunder Road Pictures and was on the 2015 Black List); Chris Thomas Devlin (“The Wretched Emily Derringer” which was featured on the 2015 Black List); and Mark Mavrothalasitis (“Vertical” which is set up at Alcon Entertainment and “Wolf In The Wild” which is set up at Awesomeness Film & TV).
Bellevue is currently producing several projects alongside such highly-regarded production companies such as Hutch Parker Entertainment, Lin Pictures, Mosaic, and Atlas Entertainment, and has set up projects at Warner Bros, Twentieth Century Fox, New Line Cinema, Amazon Studios, Bron Studios, and Voltage Pictures.
Bellevue produced “Always Watching,” the feature adaptation of the popular web-series “Marble Hornets,” which has over 80 million views online. “Always Watching” was produced alongside Mosaic and Good Universe and was released by Gravitas Ventures.
